1. Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time from Subscription → Overview in the product. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period that is already running.
Access to paid functionality continues until that period ends. Your data remains available to you for the duration, and export is available from Settings → Data Export before the period closes.
2. Refunds
Subscription fees are not refundable once a billing period has begun. Cancelling part-way through a period stops the next renewal; it does not produce a pro-rata refund for the unused remainder.
Where a refund is nonetheless due — a duplicate charge, a debit taken after a valid cancellation, or a failed provisioning that we could not remedy — it is returned to the original payment instrument within 10 business days of the claim being accepted.
Refunds are always made to the source instrument. We do not refund to a different account, card, or UPI handle.
3. Failed Payments
If a scheduled payment fails, the subscription enters a short grace period during which access continues and the payment is retried. If payment is not completed within that window, the subscription lapses and paid functionality is suspended.
A lapsed subscription can be reactivated by completing payment. Data is retained through the grace period and the retention window described in the Privacy Policy.
4. UPI Mandate Revocation
Cancelling a subscription in Avana stops future billing. If you additionally wish to revoke the underlying UPI Autopay mandate, you may do so from the mandate-management screen of your own UPI application, or from the mandates screen in Avana.
Revoking the mandate prevents any further debit but does not by itself close the subscription record. Cancel the subscription as well if that is your intent.
5. Raising a Claim
Send refund claims to mayank@avartanalabs.com with the account email and the payment reference. We acknowledge claims within 5 business days.
If a claim is declined you will be told why, and you may escalate to the Grievance Officer named in the Grievance Redressal policy.
